I'm Nicole Shelton, a double board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN, PMHNP, FNP). My experience in ICU and the ER informs my holistic approach to care. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, substance use, and trauma across the lifespan. As a military wife and mother, I emphasize lifestyle balance, encouraging patients to integrate nutrition and exercise. I am dedicated to breaking mental health stigma and advocating for veterans and those impacted by trauma, ensuring you feel seen, supported, and empowered on your journey.
I am a Native New Yorker, living in Colorado since the Mets won the World Series. I use my training in conjunction with my life experience in the therapy room, but it's always your therapy room.
I am excited to work with folks 12+ who don't want therapy to feel like a doctor's office. I have experience working with anxiety, low self-esteem, disconnection, and trauma, as well as folks navigating difficult diagnoses and changing life circumstances that leave them feeling stuck, afraid, or alone.
Hello, I'm Liz! I have over 5 years of experience working inpatient, outpatient, and varying levels of severity. I enjoy getting to know people and be an extra ear to their troubles. I can be sarcastic at times, and consider myself a person talking to people!
Hi, I'm Maddie! I grew up in a small town in Western New York and spent most of my early days running around outside playing in the mud. From teenage to young adulthood I struggled significantly with anxiety, GI issues, and trying to fit in with who/what I saw around me. Once I moved to Colorado, I had complete culture shock and started rethinking who I am and how I want to show up in the world. After learning strategies first hand, and attending grad school for Art Therapy, I started finding my way. Now, I'm passionate about helping others find empowerment and connection to the things that matter most to them. I'd love to work with children, teens and young adults who are questioning their identity or living with anxiety or difficult symptoms after going through trauma.
I’m a licensed therapist with master’s degrees in both Philosophy and Clinical Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver. My work is guided by values of openness, empathy, and curiosity, and I see therapy as a collaborative space for growth and self-discovery. I strive to create an environment where clients feel genuinely seen, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I work with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, thought disorders, and life transitions, helping them build resilience and a deeper sense of fulfillment.
I believe counseling is a collaborative process and starts in the first session as we work together to understand your concerns. My first intention for you is to feel empowered, nurtured, and strengthened by the work we do together. I will work with you to create a safe and trusting space in which you can explore challenges that have hindered your ability to take full advantage of your potential. Together we will work on resolving difficult issues to promote increased self-awareness, understanding, and connection.
If you're feeling stretched thin—anxious, exhausted, or stuck in patterns you can't quite name—you don't have to keep pushing through it alone. I'm Risa, an LCSW with over 10 years of experience helping adults move from overwhelmed to grounded.
I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma and PTSD, grief, anger, relationship strain, identity questions, and difficult life transitions. Many of my clients look high-functioning on the outside while struggling underneath—racing thoughts, disrupted sleep, burnout, or a quiet sense that something needs to change.
Over my career I've supported clients in community mental health, geriatric care, veterans' health, and corrections—settings that taught me to meet people across very different circumstances without judgment. I earned my Master's in 2012 and have practiced ever since, with particular experience supporting women and the LGBTQIA+ and transgender community around identity, relationships, and self-worth.
Whatever brought you here, my aim is for you to feel understood from our very first conversation.
My name is Celeste and I'm an LPC in CO. I work I have always wanted to be a person that could have a positive impact on someone’s life. A person they could talk to with no judgment but instead empathize with them in a safe environment. Sometimes all that is needed is someone to actually hear what they are saying. I enjoy working with people to help them learn how to understand feelings and where they come from. To help them to communicate effectively, express themselves fully, and achieve their individual goals.
I am currently on maternity leave until mid-July. If you think we would be a good fit I can either add you to my waitlist or set you up with one of the clinicians that works for me (who are very similar to me). You can check out more information on my website www.wildlyauthenticcounseling.com
Do you feel like you have lost your spark and vibrancy? Do you struggle with the expectations of who you should be, never feeling like you are enough? Do you numb your feelings and ignore your hearts desires for comfort, stability, acceptance, and normalcy? That used to be me too! With my own ADHD and Trauma, life has not always been easy. I want to help you overcome the things that are weighing you down and help you actualize your most authentic life.
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Colorado who works with individual and couples. I offer therapy to treat symptoms of anxiety, depression and trauma and specialize in support for new and emergent parents as they navigate pregnancy, birth and postpartum. My therapy style is relational and non-judgmental; reverent and light-hearted.
Before entering the mental health field, I had what was my dream job: guiding outdoor trips in the United States and abroad. Though this work was invigorating, what felt the most meaningful to me was walking alongside people as they embarked on a life-changing experience, whether backpacking through a storm or exploring a new country. I became a therapist because I saw an opportunity to provide life-changing experiences of a different kind. Prior to starting my therapy practice, I worked in an outpatient community mental health clinic with young people and their families. My most exciting adventure yet, becoming a mother to my daughter in 2025, led me to find my passion in supporting new parents.
