I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC016639) in the state of Georgia and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH22156) in the state of Florida. I've worked in a variety of settings, such as psychiatric hospitals, crisis stabilization units, community agencies and college campuses. My clients have a wide range in age, gender, sexual orientation, faith, education level, ethnicity, and cultural background. In my practice, I like to focus on life transitions, whether it's leaving a job, becoming a parent, or starting college.

As a General (Adult) and Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist, I am passionate about empowering all ages on their journey towards mental health and well-being.

I completed a residency in General Psychiatry and fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Georgia's prestigious medical college, one of the oldest medical schools in the nation. This expert, specialized training has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to understand the unique psychological needs of children, adolescents, and adults.

I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist, and am also a Board Certified Pediatrician (triple-trained in General Pediatrics, General Psychiatry, and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry). I completed pediatrics residency at NYC’s only academic Children’s Hospital in Brooklyn, SUNY Downstate, with additional pediatric and psychiatric clinical internships at Brooklyn’s Maimonides Medical Center. Additionally, I graduated with a Master of Public Health with an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Health Communications from renowned Stony Brook University’s School of Medicine & their Journalism School’s Center for Communicating Science. I graduated medical school with clinical accolades at New York’s oldest osteopathic college, NYIT.

I bring a warm, approachable, and genuinely caring presence to my work in psychiatry. I am goal-oriented and thoughtful in my clinical approach, working collaboratively with patients to help them achieve meaningful and sustainable progress in their mental health.

I am known for my kind and pleasant demeanor, creates a comfortable, respectful, and supportive environment where patients feel safe, heard, and valued. Compassionate yet purposeful approach fosters trust, engagement, and positive outcomes in care.

I work with teens 16 years+ and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, identity questions, trauma, ADHD, and self esteem struggles. Many of my clients come to therapy trying to understand themselves better and figure out why certain patterns keep showing up in their lives.

As a parent and therapist, I understand how life experiences, family dynamics, and past challenges shape who we become. Clients often describe me as open minded, supportive, and empowering. I aim to create a space where you can be honest about what you are going through while also feeling encouraged to grow and move forward.

Hi! My name is Sade Bowman and I am a LPC in Georgia. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from GSU and a Master's degree in Counseling from Mercer University. I have 5 years of experience specializing in youth, teens, and adults adjusting to life changes, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, traumatic past, anger issues, ADHD, Autism, and abandonment/attachment issues. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, enjoying nature, art, music, exercise/yoga, hiking, concerts, and traveling.
