Good therapy can change your life! In the decade that I've been a psychotherapist, I've accompanied my clients through breaking vicious cycles, reworking toxic patterns, and creating new habits that promote their flourishing. My advanced clinical training makes me especially effective working with clients who self-describe as perfectionists, people pleasers, over-functioning, and/or highly sensitive.
Hello and welcome. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. I have extensive training in trauma and support adolescents, adults, and seniors navigating a wide range of emotional and mental health concerns.
I will provide a space where you feel safe, respected, and truly heard and understood. Whether you are working through OCD, trauma, PTSD, BFRB's, anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to walk alongside you with compassion and care. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, but you do not have to take it alone. I would be honored to support you as you begin your journey toward healing, growth, and wellness.
Hi and thank you for your interest. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience. I studied at The University of Akron and received my masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Counseling. I specialize in working with couples and families and have been known to have a direct, supportive and empowering approach. I have experience in working in outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential and inpatient facilities.
Finding a therapist that is the right fit for you can be daunting. I provide a non-judgmental space for you to be who you are and safely process your hardships. Life can be messy, embarrassing, hurtful and lonely. I'm here to work through it with you. I encourage all of the people I work with to understand that if nothing changes, nothing changes.
I have experience working with adults and teens. The biggest indicator of success in therapy is the quality of the therapeutic relationship. However, I work hard to stay up to date with treatment modalities to support a variety of mental health issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, and codependency.
Welcome, and thank you for choosing me to support you on your counseling journey. I look forward to meeting with you and creating a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered.
I obtained by master's degree in 2023 from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have experience working with diverse populations, including individuals managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I specialize in trauma therapy, PTSD treatment, anxiety and OCD treatment, and substance use/addiction. I have additional experience working with survivors of domestic/intimate partner violence and human trafficking. I have recently obtained my credential as a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP).

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right therapist in Michigan starts with getting clear on what you need. Think about the concerns you want to address — such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or life transitions — and whether you'd prefer talk therapy, medication management, or both. From there, look for a licensed provider (such as an LMSW, LPC, LMFT, psychologist, or psychiatrist) who has experience with your specific situation. Reading a provider's bio can help you understand their style and approach before you commit.
Michigan is home to thousands of mental health providers, with concentrations in metro areas like Detroit, Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, and Lansing. If you live in a more rural part of the state, virtual sessions can expand your options significantly. Many providers on Headway offer both in-person and virtual appointments, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and preferences.
Therapy in Michigan can be expensive out of pocket, but using your in-network insurance benefits is one of the most straightforward ways to reduce costs. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs before you book — and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, making it easier to find a provider who fits your needs and your budget.
