Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia. I have over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have experience supporting individuals and families through difficulties due to separation, grief, loss, depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges. I have extensive experience working with individuals of all ages who experienced abuse and/or neglect during childhood.
I have a background in science and psychology, which fits my education as a psychologist. I am also a very creative and collaborative person. I want to work with each client to find the best individual treatment for them. I know many techniques and exercises, but only you can tell me what what works best for you. I enjoy helping adults (age 18+) navigate the transitions they face and be able to look forward to the future with hope (even if that feels very far away currently).
I am a Virginia Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I have a master’s degree in professional counseling and another in crisis and trauma counseling. Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a licensed therapist offering telehealth-only sessions for individuals seeking support with their mental health and overall wellbeing.
I integrate evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, CPT, Mindfulness, ACT, and MI with trauma focused and trauma-informed practices.
In addition to talk therapy, I incorporate bottom-up expressive arts practices to help clients reconnect with themselves, regulate their nervous system, and build resilience. Creative approaches—like movement, imagery, music, and art—can open up new ways of processing feelings that words alone sometimes can’t reach. As well as increase the capacity to experience joy and happiness once more.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I believe in treating the whole person rather than just symptoms. I work collaboratively with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and lifestyle. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with education, supportive therapy, and practical coping strategies to promote lasting wellness.
Clients can expect me to be compassionate, approachable, and dedicated to helping them navigate life's challenges while empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.
My journey into the mental health field is deeply personal as a neurodivergent adult. I experienced various traumatic events throughout my childhood and early adulthood, which motivated me to break the generational cycle. When I sought treatment to address those experiences, I found a severely limited mental health system with undereducated providers, leaving people in need grossly underserved. I was outraged on behalf of all who had come before me, but I used that frustration as motivation to be the change I wanted to see. I became an LMFT and LPCC so I could use my empathy and genuine desire to help others, and I am determined to help you recognize your own strength and potential while overcoming past barriers.
I am currently pursuing a PsyD in Applied Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, with an expected graduation in June 2028. My previously completed degrees include: Master of Arts (M.A.) in Marriage and Family Therapy/Professional Clinical Counseling from Brandman University, Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Human Services, Family and Child Services from the University of Phoenix, and Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Psychology from the University of Phoenix.
I have been working in the mental health field since 2015. I hold dual licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Over the years, I have gained extensive experience through various roles, progressing from a Mental Health Specialist and Family Specialist to a Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, and currently, a Clinical Director. I treat children, adolescents, adults, and couples however my clients most commonly identify as neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+. In treatment, I utilize my dual licensure background to look at how your individual, relational, and developmental issues impact your daily functioning.
