Hi! Thanks for stopping by my profile! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin. I am warm, honest, and down to earth human. I work with clients who are navigating life and all its experiences, big and small, all are welcome. Some things I come across often are: anxiety, neurodivergence (all kinds), stress, burnout, life transitions, relationship concerns, and the emotional weight of trying to hold everything together during complicated times.
Starting therapy takes courage, and I want you to know that you do not have to have everything figured out before reaching out. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, anxious, discouraged, or simply tired of carrying everything on your own. Wherever you are in your process, my goal is to meet you there with warmth, curiosity, and respect.
I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, ADHD, grief, relationship challenges, substance use, eating concerns, stress, sleep difficulties, mood changes, and major life transitions. I believe that healing is not about becoming a different person. It is about reconnecting with yourself, understanding your patterns, and building the tools to move through life with more confidence, clarity, and self-compassion.
In our work together, you can expect a supportive space where you feel heard, encouraged, and gently challenged when needed. I bring both compassion and practical guidance to therapy, helping you better understand what is keeping you stuck while also creating realistic steps toward change.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, life transitions, chronic health concerns using a lifestyle medicine–informed approach. Many clients feel overwhelmed managing both mental health symptoms and physical conditions, while balancing work, relationships, and caregiving demands. Often high-functioning yet exhausted, they carry a significant mental and physical load and feel disconnected from their needs or direction. This work focuses on restoring stability by addressing the behavioral and lifestyle factors that influence overall health.
I am licensed in both mental health and substance use treatment in the state of Wisconsin, and have spent over 20 years working with a wide range of people and concerns in many different settings. I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and my goal is to offer a grounded, respectful space where you feel heard, accepted, and supported at your own pace.
I believe healing happens best in relationships built on authenticity, curiosity, and compassion. Whether we're talking in the office or walking a wooded trail, my approach is grounded, collaborative, and tailored to you.
What do you need right now to make things okay? Its likely that if you knew that answer, you would not be looking for help! Life feels so frustrating or hopeless sometimes; you want to feel good but just don’t know how. It is hard to know where to start. The truth is, you already have all the answers within yourself but those answers may be hiding, obscured by fears or depression. They might be buried deep within you, just waiting to be recognized and brought forth.
Sometimes the solutions are easier to find with someone who will help you sort through all the noise to find what is true and real. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, past trauma or grief, I can help you find the path that works for you --in order-- to move forward with your life. Together, we will sort through the messiness that is life to find those pieces that make sense.
I’m a licensed psychologist with more than three decades of experience in psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and trauma-informed care. My background includes extensive work with adults, adolescents, and children across private practice, medical settings, and the VA’s PTSD clinic, where I provided both treatment and disability evaluations. I completed my doctorate at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in an APA-approved Counseling Psychology program and an APA-accredited internship with broad training in assessment, psychotherapy, and multidisciplinary collaboration. I specialize in trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, dissociation, family-of-origin issues, and helping people untangle long-standing patterns that keep them stuck. My style is warm, open-minded, and direct, meeting people right where they are while helping them move toward where they want to be.
