My name is Elizabeth Yopp and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with children 12 and above, as well as adults of all ages. I'm open-minded and non judgmental, with a patient, flexible and easygoing nature. I value empathy and compassion, have a good sense of humor and pride myself on being an attentive, active listener. I enjoy helping individuals navigate life challenges, such as adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, grief and occupational or relationship difficulties, so they can move forward in a positive direction.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and a 2022 graduate of Walden University and earned a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I recognize and appreciate that every person is a unique individual and there is not a “one size fits all” approach to counseling. I will work with you to determine the best approach to meet your goals. I am a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist-Associate who serves adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I work with young people experiencing disruptive behaviors, and individuals experiencing change of life concerns, anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders, as well as aiding individuals in developing anger management skills and coping skills to address emotional and behavioral concerns.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over three years of outpatient therapy experience who works with teens and adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical, and tailored to you. Reaching out can be the hardest part, so I’m really glad you’re here. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and able to handle what life throws your way.
Hello! My name is Jenna Aiken. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I work with clients in North Carolina via telehealth. My professional work experience includes private counseling practice, emergency department crisis assessment, community mental health, substance abuse treatment, and domestic violence prevention.
I focus my work on supporting mothers during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. I am currently in a certification program to increase my education around postpartum mental wellness. I'm so glad you're here! I love working with new moms, helping them navigate the transition into their new role, and high achieving women who have learned to self silence and/or suppress their needs. Helping women navigate any of the challenging transitions of life (newly separated/divorced, new jobs, new relationship, college admission/graduation) is a real passion of mine!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Addiction Specialist — and this work is not just my profession, it is my calling. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating substance and behavioral addictions, and I also hold space for something that often goes unaddressed: the family members of addicted loved ones, who carry their own profound pain and deserve their own healing. I am trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Relapse Prevention, and Self-Compassion practices. But beyond the credentials, here is what I want you to know about me: I believe that therapy is about walking beside you — not directing you, not fixing you — with the quiet understanding that we are all, in our own way, walking one another home. That belief shapes everything about how I show up for my clients.
I know how hard it is to learn to talk about difficult things. That made me want to help others learn to do the same. I started by volunteering at rape crisis and domestic violence shelters. When I was at these places I did outreach in the community and ran support groups for both. For a time, I took rape crisis hospital calls to support people who had come in for sexual assault exams. This work that taught me to be comfortable talking about anything, at any time, with anyone. I have worked with all types of individuals from ages 12 and up. My first Masters was an intensive dive into Human Rights. My second Masters was in Counseling so I could work with individuals to help them beyond the crisis moments. My passion is to help people progress towards healing.

Finding the right therapist in Knightdale starts with getting clear on what kind of support you're looking for. Therapists specialize in different areas — from anxiety, depression, and trauma to relationship concerns, life transitions, and stress. Knowing what you want to focus on can help you narrow your options. It also helps to consider whether you prefer in-person sessions at a local office or the flexibility of virtual appointments.
Knightdale is a growing community in Wake County, and residents here have access to providers both locally and in surrounding areas like Wendell, Zebulon, Rolesville, and Raleigh. When evaluating a therapist, look for someone who is fully licensed (such as an LCSW, LCMHC, LPC, or psychologist), has experience with your specific concerns, and feels like a good fit based on their bio and approach. A free phone consultation can be a helpful way to gauge that connection before committing.
Therapy costs in the Knightdale area vary, but using your in-network insurance benefits is one of the most reliable ways to make sessions affordable. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs before you book, and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, so you can confirm your specific coverage and find a provider who fits both your clinical needs and your budget.
