I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20+ years of experience helping children, parents, and caregivers through big feelings and life changes. Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I am honest, direct, and passionate about helping people connect to their values and make positive change in their lives.
I believe that our environment, our physical health, and our mental health are intimately linked. I take a whole person approach to counseling where we will address multiple aspects of your health and functioning in order to improve your mental health. An important part of my approach is helping you to broaden your awareness and build insight into how your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions interact and may be keeping you stuck in unhealthy cycles. I also work with my clients on values identification to help guide us in developing practical steps to get you unstuck and moving forward in life in a meaningful way. My main treatment modalities are cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.
I have experience working in inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient clinical settings and I have a special interest in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, mood disorders, sport/performance and general life difficulties (relationship conflict, job/career changes, managing stress).
Hello! I'm glad you made it here! My aim is to support and empower you to reach your goals. I am here to provide you with ideas, insight and education as we work together collaboratively. As for me, I have two bachelor's degrees - one in psychology and the other in nursing. I completed graduate school as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have served people in my local outpatient community, inpatient (medical as well as psychiatric), in the state hospital, intensive outpatient programs, and more. I am also happy and very comfortable working alongside people with developmental disabilities, those on the neurodivergent spectrum, and those that are a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
Great to meet you!As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe that a healthy relationship with yourself is the foundation for a good life. While I've worked across many demographics, my practice now focuses primarily on adult individuals navigating anxiety, relationship and intimacy concerns, trauma, and major life or identity transitions. I'd be glad to help you find steadier ground, whatever that looks like for you.

I spent 18 years as a firefighter and EMT, showing up for people at their most vulnerable and helping heal their physical wounds. Now, I bring that same dedication to helping people heal their emotional wounds as a Licensed Professional Counselor with Love Focused Counseling. I've been in the mental health field since 2012 — from residential care to private practice — and I founded my practice on one belief: the most important relationship you'll ever have is the one with yourself. When that relationship is strong and stable, you can show up fully in every other area of your life.
