Hello, and welcome. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) serving clients throughout Texas. I earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and completed my LPC internship under the supervision of an exceptional LPC Supervisor here in Texas.
My experience spans a variety of mental health settings, including working as a case manager and service coordinator for individuals with developmental disabilities, a rehabilitation teacher in a state psychiatric hospital, a therapist on a geriatric behavioral health unit, and a counselor in medication-assisted treatment (MAT), substance use disorder (SUD) inpatient and outpatient programs, and individual counseling settings. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
A primary focus of my work is helping individuals heal from trauma and anxiety. I have completed the training portion of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based approach that uses bilateral eye movements similar to EMDR while incorporating its own unique treatment methods. Throughout my career, I have come to recognize how common trauma is and how profoundly it can impact a person's emotions, relationships, self-worth, and overall quality of life.
My counseling style is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and respected. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, trauma, substance use, grief, or feeling stuck in life, my goal is to help you build insight, strengthen coping skills, and work toward meaningful change over time.

Life can feel heavy at times, and reaching out for support is a brave and meaningful first step. You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. I offer a compassionate, culturally sensitive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and understood. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, strengthen self-compassion, and begin creating meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy with me is a partnership. Together, we will explore what you are facing, identify your strengths, and build practical tools to help you move through life with more clarity, confidence, and hope. Hey there! I'm Amanda, and I'm so glad you're here. If anxiety has been stealing your peace, your mind won't stop racing, or you're feeling overwhelmed by life's demands, you don't have to figure it all out on your own. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (M.Ed., LPC), I help teens and adults learn practical tools to manage anxiety, quiet unhelpful thoughts, and build a life that feels calmer and more fulfilling. Outside of the therapy office, I'm a wife, mom, follower of Jesus, avid traveler, and an enthusiastic (but still learning!) home chef. I believe the best therapy happens when you feel comfortable enough to simply be yourself.
After earning my Master's in Counseling from the University of Houston, I gained experience working in both schools and private practice, supporting individuals through anxiety, stress, life transitions, and emotional challenges. I especially enjoy helping people recognize the thought patterns that keep them feeling stuck and replace them with healthier, more empowering ways of thinking. For clients who desire it, I'm also honored to integrate Christian faith and biblical principles into our work together.
Double board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in depression, ADHD, women’s mental health concerns, and the unique pressures faced by high-functioning professionals and students. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and nonjudgmental.
If you've spent your life providing, surviving, and holding things together for everyone else, therapy can feel like one more thing to manage. I work with men and working people who are tired of feeling anxious, isolated, or stuck, and who want to feel like themselves again. As a bilingual therapist raised in San Antonio, I understand the pressures of low wages, generational trauma, and the expectation to keep pushing no matter what. Whether you're navigating relationships, identity, or stress that never fully turns off, you don't have to figure it out alone.

Whatever you are facing, I am committed to helping you move forward and take meaningful steps toward a healthier, more hopeful future.
