I predominately work with clients within the LGBTQIA+ community, and am licensed in HI, WA, & OR. I completed my Master's at Hawai'i Pacific University in 2015, and attended 2 years of their PsyD program as well. My time was also spent interning at Hawai'i State Hospital and Waimānalo Health Center. Both experiences were humbling and amazing, giving me a solid grounding in community mental health before I transitioned to private practice.
Each client has unique concerns, which different therapies may be helpful for. I love discussing treatment options with clients! I have been a mentor for graduate students working on psychedelic medicine projects, a speaker in the community, and serve on a board of directors for a local non-profit. It's important to me to stay active in my community, especially given the current unique issues queer people and other vulnerable people are facing. I also offer psychedelic integration therapy for folks who are curious about or already exploring psychedelic experiences on their own or in legal/medical settings, and want support making sense of what comes up. As an outwardly non-binary therapist, I hope to provide a you a safe place where you don't need to censor yourself. I provide a laid-back approach, while taking your concerns seriously.
Hi! I'm Jeffery Clark. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based out of Spokane, Washington. I graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2019 with my masters in social work with a focus on mental health and substance use disorders. I have over seven years of experience working with all phases of patient care to include hospital settings and outpatient co-occurring services. I specialize in the treatment of adolescents, military, and first responders as they navigate life’s challenges and heal from trauma. Hope. Honesty. Humility. These are my guiding principles. Therapy is already draining, so I present a laid back and approachable perspective to meet you where you are and help identify and fulfill the goals you have created.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right therapist in Washington starts with getting clear on what you're looking for. Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, or another challenge, look for a licensed provider — such as an LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or psychologist — who has experience with your specific needs. Reading a provider's bio can give you a sense of their style and approach before you reach out.
Washington is a large state, and access to mental health care can vary depending on where you live. Virtual therapy makes it possible to connect with a licensed provider from anywhere in the state, whether you're in downtown Seattle or a more rural area. Many providers on Headway offer both in-person and virtual sessions, so you can choose what works best for your schedule and location.
Therapy in Washington can be costly out of pocket, but using your in-network insurance benefits is one of the most straightforward ways to reduce what you pay per session. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated costs before you book. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, and your out-of-pocket cost may be as low as $0 per session — though costs vary based on your specific plan and location.
