Welcome, I am glad you are here!
I am a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) with more than twenty years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work and have had the privilege of working with clients across the lifespan throughout my career. The first half of my career was dedicated to supporting children and families. For the past nine years, I have specialized in working with veteran's diagnosed with PTSD. My areas of expertise include PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief/loss.
I am a clinically licensed therapist who works with teens and adults. I support clients who are dealing with anxiety, ADHD, depression, emotional regulation, relationship stress, life transitions, and self esteem concerns. I aim to create a space that feels warm, genuine, and safe. I believe therapy does not have to feel intimidating to be effective, and I often use appropriate humor to help clients feel more comfortable while doing meaningful work.
For 30 years, I've worked inside schools alongside children and adolescents — as a social worker, an advocate, and someone who genuinely understands how young people think, struggle, and grow. I know what anxiety looks like in a middle schooler. I know how ADHD shows up in a classroom. And I know that the kids and families who need support deserve to get it without spending years trying to find relief.
I'm a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker — a credential I earned in November 2025, after raising two kids of my own while completing every requirement along the way. It took longer than I planned. I wouldn't change it. That experience shapes how I show up for every client.
I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Kansas and work as both a school social worker and a therapist, giving me a perspective on young people and families that's grounded in their real, daily lives.
When anxiety, depression, overwhelming stress, or difficult life experiences begin affecting every part of your life, it can feel like you're simply trying to make it through each day. You may have spent so much time taking care of others or pushing through challenges that you've forgotten what it feels like to truly feel at peace. You don't have to navigate this season alone. For nearly two decades, I've partnered with individuals experiencing depression, stress management, anger management, and PTSD so they can regain emotional balance, strengthen their relationships, and create healthier, more fulfilling lives. Working with adolescents and adults, I strive to provide a compassionate, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to take meaningful steps toward lasting change.
Hello, My name is Amanda. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I see patients across the life span. I work in the emergency department and crisis as well as see patients in an outpatient setting.
I have been practicing mental health counseling since 2019 in a variety of settings. I enjoy working with adolescents, teens, and adults to overcome life stress, adjust to hard circumstances, and manage anxiety! I have a Master's degree in Counseling from West Chester University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Penn State University. I have a special focus on treating anxiety disorders, depression, difficult adjustment to life changes (i.e. high school, college), and trauma, grief, and other life stressors.
I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist who specializes in working with individual adults. I support clients navigating ADHD, neurodivergence, emotional regulation, relationship patterns, identity, and life transitions. My work is trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, and grounded in the belief that therapy can help you better understand yourself, strengthen self-trust, and the clinical belief that any person can change course in life at any time.
I draw from approaches such as EFT, IFS, ACT, and integrative experiential techniques, tailoring our work to your unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll explore emotions, patterns, and strategies that help you feel more grounded, resilient, and connected to yourself and the relationships that matter most.
I earned the MSW from the University of Kansas in 2014. I have since engaged in a range of direct human and mental health service work; including in-home therapy with youth and their families connected to state child protective services; crisis therapy and case management in a short-term crisis stabilization facility; outpatient community mental health therapy including work with individuals, families or couples, and groups.
I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a Master of Science in Health Service Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. My education and professional experience in mental health, health care, and nutrition offer a depth and breadth of experience that enables me to view the whole person holistically.
I have been working as a clinician and an administrator for over 25 years. After gaining a Master's of Social Work, I worked in community mental health centers in Northern Arizona, Chicago, Missouri and Kansas. I have held roles as a case manager, therapist, clinical supervisor and an administrator overseeing operations of a community mental health center. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work at organizations across the country that focus on helping clients achieve wellness and balance in their lives. As a clinician, I am dedicated to providing personalized care to clients, and helping clients move towards wellness through the use of CBT, EMDR and other evidence based practices.
I look forward to meeting you and working with you.
