I am empathetic, compassionate and listen actively to my patients.
Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming. I aim to create a safe, collaborative, and grounded space from the beginning. I meet clients where they are and move at a pace that feels manageable and respectful.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, trauma, addiction, and relationship challenges. I also specialize in complex and developmental trauma.
I support clients in integrating their spiritual and cultural values into therapy when desired and clinically appropriate. I was born in New Orleans and bring a culturally informed perspective shaped by my Latina, Indigenous, Christian, and Sephardic Jewish backgrounds.
I became a therapist because I have a deep commitment to helping people recognize and build their own strengths, especially during periods of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. I understand that seeking support takes courage, and I work to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the process.
I earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) and PhD from Tulane University, as well as a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Louisiana and Texas, and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Minnesota. I also hold a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Licensed Prevention Professional (LPP), and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP).
Life can feel overwhelming when you are carrying emotional pain, stress, or challenges that feel difficult to manage on your own while trying to keep up with work, relationships, and daily responsibilities. You may be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, or struggles with focus that leave you feeling exhausted, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. Over time, that pressure can show up as chronic worry, burnout, sadness, grief, emotional overwhelm, or a growing sense of disconnection from yourself and others. I specialize in substance use and addiction, ADHD, depression, stress management, and PTSD. I work with adults, and as a psychologist in Missouri with 14 years of experience, my goal is to create a supportive space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to move toward healing and meaningful change.
As a licensed therapist with over 10 years of experience, I’m here to help you feel more like yourself again. If you’ve been dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, or just feeling overwhelmed, we’ll work together to slow things down, make sense of what you’re going through, and find a path forward that actually feels manageable. I work with children, teens, and adults, and my goal is always to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported from the very start.
Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with extensive utilization review, case management, hospice, and health informatics. Skilled in conducting comprehensive assessments, prescribing and managing medications, and delivering evidence-based therapies.
I believe in meeting people where they are—with honesty, warmth, and a steady presence. My approach is calm and straightforward, focused on creating a space where you can be fully yourself.
15 years practicing in Mental Health. I feel honored to walk along side my clients in their journey.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right therapist in Saint Paul starts with clarifying what you're looking for. Consider whether you need support for a specific concern — such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or life transitions — and whether you'd prefer talk therapy, medication management, or both. A licensed provider like an LCSW, LPCC, psychologist, or psychiatrist can offer different types of care, so understanding the distinction can help narrow your search.
From there, think about the practical details that will keep you consistent with appointments. Do you want to meet in person at an office near your neighborhood, or would virtual sessions fit your schedule better? Does a provider's approach or background matter to you? Reading a provider's bio before booking can give you a sense of their style and specialties, so you can feel more confident about the fit.
Therapy in Saint Paul can be expensive without coverage, but using your in-network insurance benefits is one of the most reliable ways to reduce what you pay. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs before you book, and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, making it easier to find a therapist who fits both your clinical needs and your budget.
