I came from Denmark to California for my own therapy and healing. After working for 20+ years as an educator and creating a family, I decided to pursue the road to become a therapist. I've worked with a diverse range of people, families, ages and challenges in humanistic, person centered, emotion focused schools, in psychodynamic community clinic, in substance use recovery center running groups and in a treatment center for clients suffering from eating disorders and co-existing conditions. Working in this field continues to give me an in depth understanding of the human soul and heart that I strive to use to help others heal.

I'm Tene Rodgers, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience in mental health and social services. I made the decision to become fully licensed five years ago because I wanted to go deeper in the work I've always cared about, and I haven't looked back since. I'm a Black woman, and that lived perspective shapes how I show up in the room. I offer culturally affirming care to adults, teens, and families, with a particular focus on trauma, grief, women's issues, relationship dynamics, and substance use.
Listen.... Life happens and it's during the tough and difficult times that as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I'm here to offer a safe space of affirmation.... and accountability
If you've been feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, stuck, or disconnected from yourself, you're not alone. Many of the women I work with are navigating burnout, grief, anxiety, life transitions, financial stress, or the pressure of constantly caring for others while neglecting their own needs.
Hi, I'm Tyana Larise Ingram, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Financial Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through life's challenges. When I'm not working, you'll likely find me listening to live music, journaling, spending time outdoors, or taking walks with my rescue pup, Sunny D.
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can finally exhale. I strive to create an environment that is supportive, honest, and free of judgment; a place where you feel truly seen and emotionally safe. My approach is collaborative and practical. I don’t just help you understand why you feel the way you do; I help you build real tools to navigate it.
I earned my degree from Cal State Fullerton and have extensive experience working in addiction treatment, eating disorder recovery, and women’s issues. Supporting women is especially meaningful to me. I am deeply passionate about helping women navigate challenges related to self-worth, body image, relationships, boundaries, life transitions, and identity. I understand how trauma, societal expectations, and relational dynamics can shape how women see themselves, and I approach this work with both compassion and clarity.
Together, we focus on strengthening mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and communication skills in ways that feel realistic and sustainable. I blend insight-oriented exploration with concrete strategies, because meaningful change happens when insight meets action. My goal is to help you better understand your patterns, feel more confident managing your emotions, and move forward with greater clarity, self-trust, and resilience.
I specialize in helping people feel better, function better, and live more fulfilling lives. If you and/or your family are in transition, whether it be an individual issue, a couples issue, your kids exhibiting stess, managing and adjusting with aging family members, divorce/separation, a simple communication breakdown, changing the effects of multigenerational trauma...call me. I have been working with all this and the symptoms of all this like depression, anxiety, relationship distress, substance misuse, anger, for many years. My work rangesb from short term adjustments, to longer term in depth psychotherapy.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Searching for therapists in Inglewood starts with finding someone whose training matches what you want support with. You may be looking for help with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, work stress, or life transitions. Review each therapist’s listed specialties, approach, and experience to understand whether their background fits your needs. Some therapists use structured methods, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, or acceptance and commitment therapy, while others focus on relational, trauma-informed, or identity-affirming care.
In a smaller city like Inglewood, local appointment options may vary by neighborhood, schedule, and office location. Virtual therapy can expand your search beyond nearby offices while still connecting you with a therapist licensed in California. As you compare options, look at appointment availability, whether the therapist is accepting new clients, and whether they offer evening, weekend, in-person, or virtual sessions. Reading therapist bios can also help you understand communication style, session structure, and what to expect before you book.
Therapy in Inglewood can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network coverage is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and understand what you may pay before your first appointment. Headway makes it easier to search for therapists who accept a wide range of insurance plans, compare availability, review detailed profiles, and book directly when you’re ready.
