I’m a trauma‐informed therapist who believes healing doesn’t require perfection—just honesty, compassion, and a willingness to take the next small step. Most of the people I work with are balancing careers, relationships, parenting, and the invisible emotional load that comes with everyday life. They’re strong, capable, and exhausted from carrying more than anyone realizes.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I’m real, relatable, and not the kind of therapist who just nods silently. I show up fully. I help you connect the dots. And I hold space for the parts of you that have been working so hard for so long.
If you’re looking for a therapist who understands the realities of everyday life and offers nonjudgemental compassionate support, I’d be honored to work with you.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe that mental health is vital to creating a balanced life. I understand that change is difficult, and it is not easy to ask for help! I enjoy working with people aged 18 and over with a variety of challenges. I have specialized experience in depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, personality disorders, substance use and addictions.
Hello and welcome! Here's a little synopsis of my professional background in therapy. I received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University in the Mindfulness-based Transpersonal program. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado, where I see clients virtually and in person. I am trained in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) from the Maiberger Institute in Boulder, Colorado. I am continuously curious and always learning. I am happy to share more once we establish a therapeutic relationship.
Have you ever felt that standard talk therapy is just treading water, and you're finally ready to swim to the shore?
With over 15 years in the field, I am a savvy, straightforward therapist ready to help you stop analyzing your life and start mastering it. My work is not a passive discussion; it is a direct and solution-oriented challenge to the barriers holding you back. My experience as a licensed professional counselor forms the foundation of a targeted approach, expertly blending proven techniques to confront issues like depression, anxiety, trauma, and complex relationship or parenting dynamics head-on. If you are serious about fighting for a better future, my non-judgmental yet rigorous style will provide the critical incident debriefing or grief and loss support you need. We aren't here to dwell on the "why"; we are here to execute the "how."
I received both my bachelors in Anthropology and my masters in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Northern Colorado (go Bears!). I also spent a year interning in the bereavement counseling center at Pathways Hospice, and before becoming a counselor I spent nearly ten years doing nursing social work for a long term care facility.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist. My approach to therapy is adaptable and largely dependent on the client's needs. I believe strongly in the mind-body connection and I enjoy discovering unique approaches to mindfulness that are best suited to each individual client.
I have experience treating clients of all ages. I have experience treating mood disorders, PTSD, gender transition, families, sleep issues, Autism, anger issues, men's issues, career counseling, life transitions, addiction, and grief. I am certified in Psychedelic Assisted therapy. I provide psychedelic integration sessions for clients following treatments.
I have an open, casual style to help clients feel at ease and open to letting me hold space for them. I am intuitive about matching my energy to the client's. We could be laughing one minute and crying the next. Sometimes you want to vent, sometimes you want to problem solve, and I am here to support you

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding a therapist in Colorado starts with getting clear on what kind of support you're looking for. Whether you're seeking help with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, or another challenge, choosing a licensed provider who specializes in your area of need can make a meaningful difference. Colorado-licensed therapists include LPCs, LCSWs, psychologists, and psychiatrists — each with different training backgrounds and areas of focus. Reading a provider's bio before booking can help you understand their approach and decide if they're a good match.
With thousands of providers practicing across the state — from the Denver metro area to mountain and rural communities — narrowing your options can take time. Consider what matters most to you, such as a provider's specialty, whether they offer in-person or virtual sessions, and their availability. A free phone consultation, offered by many providers on Headway, gives you a chance to ask questions and see if the fit feels right before committing.
Therapy in Colorado can be expensive without insurance, but using in-network benefits is one of the most reliable ways to reduce what you pay out of pocket. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs before you book, and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, making it easier to find a provider who fits both your clinical needs and your budget.
