If you're feeling overwhelmed by trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, or bipolar disorder, you do not have to carry it alone. Therapy can be a place to feel heard, understood, and supported while you make sense of what you've been through. Together, we'll focus on helping you feel safer, more grounded, and better equipped to move through life with confidence and hope.
I am committed and dedicated to serving my patients and community. I am an advocate for mental health, and I integrate innovative treatments in my practice.
I graduated from West Texas A&M University with a master's degree in Professional Counseling.
Howdy!
I spent years as a teacher, nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning. I approach therapy with a playful and educational spirit, empowering clients to explore their inner landscapes with curiosity and insight. When I'm not in the therapy room, you'll often find me breaking a sweat at the gym. In addition to pumping iron, I create hand-tufted rugs. It's a meditative practice that allows me to tap into my creativity and bring beauty into the world.
My philosophy for therapy is that it should be a “short term investment for life long benefits”. As a therapist, I am calm, patient, direct and honest.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right therapist in Texas starts with getting clear on what you're looking for. Consider the concerns you want to address — whether that's anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, or something else — and look for a licensed provider with experience in that area. Texas-licensed therapists include Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs), and psychologists, each with different training backgrounds. Reading a provider's bio can help you understand their approach and decide if they're a good match.
With Texas being the second-largest state in the country, access to in-person care varies widely depending on where you live. Virtual therapy makes it possible to connect with a licensed provider from anywhere in the state, whether you're in a major metro area or a smaller community. Many providers on Headway offer both virtual and in-person sessions, so you can choose what works best for your schedule and preferences.
Therapy in Texas can be expensive without insurance. Using your in-network benefits is one of the most reliable ways to reduce what you pay out of pocket. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs before you book, and many patients pay as low as $0 per session. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, making it easier to find a therapist who fits your needs and your budget.
