I am passionate about being able to help clients learn to help themselves. Often times, we aren't equipped with the tools and knowledge to move through life's challenges. I specialize in helping my clients heal from underlying traumas that continue to cause distress, while also treating current symptoms of anxiety and depression. I hope that each of my clients feel validated, supported, and valued. I am inspired by seeing my clients begin making necessary changes in their own lives to improve their overall wellbeing.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology as well as a Master's Degree of Social Work. I began to work in this field as a foster care case manager. I have since gained 15 years of clinical experience among various outpatient and inpatient treatment settings. I specialize in treating PTSD, Anxiety, and Depressive Disorders.

Welcome! My name is Dr. Natalia Kuzmina, PhD. I hold a LMFT/LCMFT license in the states of Florida, Georgia, and Kansas. I earned my PhD. in Couple and Family Therapy from Kansas State University and my Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University.

Reaching out can be hard and I am here to help begin the process of healing and being there to help us become a better you. My goal and desire is to help teach you and provide you the essentials to overcome your obstacles. When life gets overwhelming at times, we forget to take care of ourselves. Depression and anxiety does not have to be a part of your everyday life.

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist and a Christian Life Coach, I believe change is very possible. I have been a part of Atlanta’s professional community for over 28 years. My MS is from Mercer University (a CACREP approved school) with additional experience in intensive marriage and family from Piedmont Hospital. I interned with Kathy Steele, an expert on complex trauma, dissociation, and other related issues. I focus on person centered therapy and solution focused. I offer EMDR and Certified.

I want you to feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I will provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings so that you can move forward towards your life goals.

I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Carolina University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia, and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina.

I grew up in Georgia and attended Georgia State University for both my bachelor's degree in psychology and my master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Georgia State University. On my leisure time, I exercise, I play sports, and I enjoy doing obstacles races. People often describe me as trustworthy, approachable and kind.

I've been a Licensed Professional Counselor for 12 years and have a private office for those who live near my office. I have experience in Christian Counseling, Low Self-esteem, Communication Skills, Coping Skills, Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, ADD, Anger Management, Relationship issues, Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence and see clients ages 6 and up.

It is my hope to assist children, teens and families toward healthy mind, body and spirit to allow for peace and joy in daily life and interactions. In my work in schools, treatment centers, and communities I have gathered experience in serving individuals working through anxiety, learning challenges, trauma, chronic disease and in healing as part of the adoption triad.
