Hi, I'm Jasmine and I am glad that you are here. Choosing to prioritize your well-being can be difficult and is something to celebrate. I am a licensed mental health counselor with six years of experience in supporting adults, teens, kids, and families. I specialize in helping women process stress, trauma, and own their authentic expression. I am rooted in decolonization and love incorporating meditation, yoga, astrology, cycle syncing, and reiki into therapy with women.
My experience has equipped me to work with clients with a wide range of issues and I love working with those authentically ready for change. I work collaboratively, reflectively and truly commit to the individual process that therapy means for each person.
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gonzaga University. My professional background has largely been in community behavioral health, where I've spent years working with individuals experiencing serious mental illness as well as people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life stress. I've worked across different parts of the behavioral health system - including clinical and leadership roles - which has given me a broad understanding of how mental health challenges show up in real life, not just in theory.
Because of that experience, I approach therapy from a holistic and systems-oriented perspective. Our mental health is shaped by far more than what's happening internally. Relationships, work stress, family dynamics, physical health, and the larger systems we interact with every day can all play a role in how we feel and function.
My style tends to be warm, collaborative, and often a little humorous. Therapy is important work, but it doesn't have to feel overly stiff or clinical. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest about what's going on while also gaining insight, perspective, and practical ways to move forward.
I specialize in supporting women navigating complex experiences that often go misunderstood. This includes women who have experienced harm within spiritual or religious communities—whether that's spiritual abuse, religious trauma, or the complicated grief of leaving a faith tradition. I also work with women managing anxiety, depression, and interpersonal trauma.
If you've felt silenced, questioned your own reality, or struggled to trust yourself after difficult experiences, you're not alone. My practice is a place where your story matters, your feelings are valid, and healing is possible.
I’ve been working in the mental health field since earning my Masters of Science in Social Work degree with a specialization in Alcohol and Drug Counseling from the University of Louisville in 2011. Over the years, I’ve worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting adults through challenges with mental health and substance use. Those experiences have given me the privilege of walking alongside people in some of the hardest and most transformative moments of their lives.
You're used to handling responsibility. You know life is what you make of it and you normally feel pretty optimistic and accomplished. But lately you find yourself off-balance. You may regret things you've said or done because there was no time to really sort out the best path. BEFORE you cut off important foundation pieces- your marriage, career, activities and people you've loved that feel like they no longer fit, see me and together let's make sure they're not part of your protective alarm system, begging for perspective and healthier personal balance.
Exploring the internal world is just an integral part of my being alive, and started young. By now, I'm cozy with cross-cultural/philosophical and belief perspectives surrounding existence, growth, difficult symptoms, and medicines. I've worked with myself - no doubt, but personally and professionally, with a lot of other people for whom it's all been front and center.
I hold a doctoral degree from a progressive Jesuit school as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I studied psychology, then nursing, and spent many years in one-on-one home healthcare. There's an EMT certification floating around in there, as well.
In the past, I considered everything from becoming a veterinarian, an acupuncturist, a wildlife biologist, a gypsy with a fishing boat, a journalist, an underwater welder, and going to medical school. The nursing field, however, is beautifully versatile, and ended up being on time. Somewhere in that mix, I am.
I offer individual therapy for adults and teenagers! I specialize in neurodevelopmental conditions (like autism, ADHD, learning disabilities), and executive functioning skills- focusing, managing emotions, problem solving, and more. I also love working with general mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, parenting challenges, existential crises, and life transitions!
I have ten years of experience in mental healthcare, and have an M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University.
