I provide psychiatric care in a way that is warm, open-minded, and empowering. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest about what is going on, whether you are dealing with anxiety, ADHD, stress, postpartum or maternal mental health concerns, depression, trauma, sleep issues, OCD, eating concerns, or women’s mental health challenges.
I know reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially when you are already carrying a lot. I work collaboratively with clients to help them better understand what they are experiencing, identify what is getting in the way, and build a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and aligned with their goals. I want clients to feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care every step of the way.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, I bring over 11 years of hands-on experience working alongside first responders and providing crisis intervention in hospital settings, including conducting evaluations in inpatient care. For the past five years, I’ve also successfully managed my own private practice, giving me a well-rounded perspective on both acute and ongoing mental health support. As a former athlete, I understand discipline, resilience, and the importance of mindset, and I’m passionate about helping people tap into their inner strength to find peace, balance, and success in their lives.
I have found my own personal healing to be intimately connected to nature, and it is here that I believe that we can all begin to rediscover our intrinsic humanity and let go of those things that distract us from our higher selves. In my spare time, I work as an outdoor educator and manage my own private practice and guide Outdoor Retreats
I believe it is helpful and important to translate what is discussed in session and in telehealth meetings into lived experience and real change.
I have a passion for working with couples and families. I have extensive evidenced based training and provide couples counseling using Gottman Method Couples Therapy and many other therapeutic interventions. My goal is to help couples to rebuild a stronger foundation in their relationship; one in which they can experience true friendship, intimacy, and passion. In addition to working with couples and families, I work empathetically with individuals seeking a new path to personal development and emotional healing. I believe that each person has unique strengths and ideals that need to be supported and nurtured to create lifelong health and happiness. So, if you are currently feeling alone and isolated in your struggle and vulnerable while dealing with your personal traumatic experiences; childhood sexual trauma/molestation, intimate partner violence, verbal, and emotional abuse and workplace challenges; please reach out to me. If you are questioning your parenting and feel that you are failing in important life roles, please consider reaching out. You do not have to be alone.
As your therapist it is important for you to know that I am a practicing Christian and deeply rooted in my faith. I believe that one’s faith can be a source of strength while navigating difficult times. I can offer a Christian perspective in conjunction with evidence based therapeutic interventions if this is something you will find helpful. My goal is not to force my beliefs or practices onto you as I practice from a non-judgmental stance.
I have been working in the recovery field as a therapist since 2019. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in forensic psychology. I am able to work with dual diagnosis but I specialize in addictive disorders. I have education in the 12 step programs and I work under the idea of emotional sobriety.
College and early adulthood can feel exciting and overwhelming at the same time. I work with college students and young adults who are navigating academic pressure, shifting friendships, family expectations, dating, and big life decisions. You might look like you’re managing it all, but inside you feel anxious, unsure of yourself, or constantly comparing where you are to everyone else. Whether you’re struggling with burnout, identity questions, or just trying to figure out your next step, therapy can be a place to slow down and actually breathe.
