You don’t have to keep repeating the same painful patterns. As a licensed trauma and addiction therapist, I help individuals uncover the emotional wounds and subconscious beliefs that drive anxiety, depression, and self-defeating behaviors. Healing begins when we understand—not judge—why we do what we do.
I specialize in trauma recovery, addiction treatment, and emotional regulation, helping clients build healthier relationships with themselves and others. Whether you’re navigating PTSD, anxiety, codependency, or recovery from substance use, my goal is to help you move from survival mode into authentic healing and growth.

Headway helps you find expert-guided support for every stage of motherhood — from finding the right therapist or psychiatrist, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right postpartum therapist in Raleigh starts with understanding what kind of support you need. Perinatal mental health covers a range of concerns — from postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety to birth trauma, adjustment to parenthood, and changes in identity or relationships. A licensed provider with experience in maternal mental health, such as a therapist with a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C), can offer care tailored to what you're going through.
Raleigh has a strong network of perinatal mental health providers, but narrowing your options can still feel overwhelming — especially when you're already managing the demands of a new baby. Consider what matters most: whether you want virtual or in-person sessions, a provider who uses a specific approach like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or EMDR, or someone whose background and style feel like the right match. Reading a provider's bio before booking can help you feel more confident in your choice.
Therapy during the postpartum period can be expensive without insurance coverage. Using your in-network benefits is one of the most reliable ways to reduce what you pay per session. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated costs before you book, and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans. Enter your insurance details on Headway to confirm what coverage is available in Raleigh.
