It has been my privilege for nearly 20 years to serve a diverse community of clients. I oversee a grief counseling center and have extensive experience working within family systems and navigating complex relationships. I've supported others with depression, anxiety, profound loss, addiction, significant health challenges, and a host of other things. I have helped empower and guide individuals to gain insight into themselves and make changes to behavior patterns holding them back.
Ever feel like your brain just won't cooperate? You know what you need to do, but you can't make yourself do it. You lose things, forget things, start projects you never finish — and you've probably been told to just try harder.
That gets old.
I'm Rodney. I'm a board-certified PMHNP and I work exclusively with adults who think they might have ADHD — or who already know they do and need a provider who actually gets it. ADHD is all I do, which means I'm not guessing.
I'll be straight with you: I talk to my patients like people, not cases. I want to know what your life actually looks like — your job, your relationships, what's driving you crazy — because that's how we figure out what's going to help.
I'm a veteran, and if that's part of your story too, you'll feel that in how I communicate. Direct, no fluff, no runaround.
I see adults across all of North Carolina via telehealth, seven days a week. If this sounds like what you've been looking for, just reach out.

Finding the right therapist in North Carolina starts with getting clear on what kind of care you need. Licensed therapists — including LPCs, LCSWs, LMFTs, and psychologists — provide talk therapy for concerns like anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. If you're looking for medication management, a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner may be the right fit. Many providers in North Carolina offer both virtual and in-person sessions, so you can choose the format that works best for your schedule and location.
With providers practicing across Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, the Triad, Wilmington, and Asheville, narrowing your options can take time. Consider what matters most to you — a provider's specialty, their approach to therapy, or whether they're close to where you live or work. Reading a provider's bio before booking can help you understand their style and decide if they're a good match.
Therapy in North Carolina can be costly without insurance, but using in-network benefits is one of the most reliable ways to reduce what you pay.
