“It is okay not to be okay.” Life’s unexpected challenges can leave us feeling emotionally exhausted, uncertain, and alone. You do not have to navigate those experiences by yourself. I provide a private, safe, and supportive environment where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences while building greater self-awareness, healing, and resilience.
My name is Brenda Hardin, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 20 years of professional experience. I am licensed in Indiana, New Jersey, and Virginia. I view therapy as a collaborative and empowering process that creates space for healing, personal growth, and meaningful change.
I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and life transitions.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the past 14 years, I have found that every person possesses the ability to change. I graduated with my masters degree from Loyola University Chicago where I specialized in working with older adults. I have since expanded my expertise to include all ages of adults who are experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, or difficult life changes.

My clients seek to understand and accept themselves and their life experiences. Together we will explore how your past is impacting your present, so you can ultimately move toward a better future.
I work with individuals, couples and families from an attachment and systems perspective, knowing we experience many wounds through relationships but through the right relationships we can also experience healing.
It is important in my work that I allow the client's cultural context inform my treatment.
