Hello! My name is Dr. Shakesha ( Shai) Evans and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Known to my clients as “ Dr. Shai,” I incorporate a genuine yet practical, “ keep it real” approach to psychotherapy. I hold myself to high standards for my strong psychoeducational, diagnostic, and clinical skills.
My treatment incorporates health, cognitive and behavioral psychology, including attachment theory.
I firmly believe in “ your input will determine your output.”
I specialize in assessing and treating depression, anxiety, trauma, child welfare, adoption, family of origin complications, relationship concerns, attachment issues, and parenting concerns. I enjoy counseling individuals across the lifespan. I am in the process of becoming trained in EMDR for treatment of trauma and PTSD. I am also working on a Yoga Teacher certification as well.
Clients should know that I am a therapist who both supports and gently challenges them, because I believe growth happens when we are willing to look at our thoughts, patterns, and behaviors honestly. I strive to create a safe, warm space while also helping clients push past comfort zones in a healthy and empowering way. I bring joyful, positive energy into sessions and hope clients feel encouraged, understood, and capable of change
You’re doing your best—but parenting can feel heavy. Maybe your child is having big emotions, struggling with anxiety, or acting out in ways that worry you. Maybe you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, and wondering if you’re doing enough. You're not alone—and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. I work with moms and children (ages 3–17) who are navigating the hard stuff—anxiety, trauma, life changes, or just the emotional weight of everyday life. Whether your child needs support, or you do (or both), I provide a safe, compassionate space where healing begins and hope grows
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with teens, adults, and children ages 7 and older navigating anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel understood and supported. I draw from person-centered therapy, attachment work, mindfulness, and I’m trained in EMDR to help process past experiences. I especially enjoy working with clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected.
Hello! My name is Marcie and I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My passion is helping individuals find their peace, confidence, and clarity. With a deep commitment to mental wellness, I offer compassionate, evidence-based care for children, teens, and adults across the lifespan.
Background & Education
I earned my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Rush University in Chicago, IL and received my Psychiatric specialization from National University in San Diego CA. I have my national board certification through the ANCC and have trained in a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient psychiatry, integrated primary care, and crisis intervention services.
Have you ever felt like you're accomplishing everything but still feel unfulfilled or unsatisfied? Do you give so much of yourself to others that little is left for you at the end of the day? Does your child's behaviors (fighting, defiance, truancy, argumentative) leave you wondering what's really going on beneath the surface. It just might be time to take a deeper look.
I’m Tiana Welch, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, providing telehealth therapy for children, teens, and young adult/adult women. With six years of experience, I have supported clients facing many challenges, including mental health concerns, behavioral issues, and substance abuse. My passion lies in helping children, teens, and families take a deeper look at behaviors to uncover the root causes, and in supporting young adult and adult women as they peel back the layers of perfectionism, burnout, and societal expectations to reconnect with their true selves.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy attending Pilates and spin classes, coloring, painting, reading, and exploring new creative hobbies like learning to sew (this month).
