Clients often describe me as someone who is "easy to talk to", has a great sense of humor, and is down to earth. After 26 years as a full time therapist, I bring a blend of compassion, experience, and wisdom. I welcome the opportunity to meet and hear your story.
Recently I also published a best selling book, Self-Love Workbook For Women: Release Self-Doubt, Build Self-Compassion, and Embrace Who You Are. (2020) and Be Kind to Yourself: A 52-Week Workbook to Nurture Your Beautiful Self Through the Good Times, the Messy Times, and All the Seasons in Between (2022).
I am Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Lifespan Development and a minor in Child and Family Development from Georgia Southern University, and went on to complete my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Florida.
My background includes working with children, teens, and families in both educational and therapeutic settings, as well as most recently supporting individuals and groups in addiction and recovery programs. I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through Florida Atlantic University and integrate evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and strengths-based strategies. My clinical interests include supporting clients through persistent depression and anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, and identity exploration. I also welcome partners and families into therapy, believing that healing and growth often take shape within our most important relationships.
As a romantic at heart, who is also well-grounded in her Christian faith, I have a passion for helping individuals achieve relational harmony in every aspect of their lives. Whether you are single, dating, engaged, or married, I can assist with self discovery and positive growth, while keeping Christ at the forefront of our journey together. I see both individuals and couples.
I work with women ages 18–25 who feel stuck between adolescence and adulthood. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, social anxiety, low confidence, avoidance, isolation, or uncertainty about their future.
They often feel overwhelmed by expectations around school, work, relationships, or independence and may be questioning their path. Together, we identify the patterns keeping them stuck, build practical coping skills, strengthen self-trust, and create meaningful steps toward a more confident, connected, and fulfilling life.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Searching for therapists in Orange Park starts with knowing what kind of support you want. People often look for therapy for anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, work stress, or life transitions. As you compare options, look for a therapist whose training, specialties, and approach match what you want to address. A profile may mention cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, couples counseling, or other areas of focus that can help you understand whether the therapist’s background fits your needs.
In a smaller community like Orange Park, local therapist availability may vary by schedule, specialty, and appointment format. Virtual therapy can expand your options across Florida while still giving you access to therapists licensed in the state. You may also want to compare appointment times, whether a therapist is accepting new patients, and whether they offer a free phone consultation. Reading therapist bios before booking can help you understand their communication style, session structure, and what to expect.
Therapy in Orange Park can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs. Headway helps you find therapists who accept a wide range of insurance plans, verify your benefits, and see an estimated out-of-pocket cost before you book. You can browse therapists, review bios, and book directly when you’re ready.
If you're experiencing or worried about violence, threats, or coercion in your relationship, couples therapy isn't usually the right starting point — individual support is safer. The National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788\) can help you think through next steps.
