I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW) with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and grief, as well as those impacted by incarceration and major life transitions.I am especially passionate about helping clients build confidence, strengthen self-esteem, and develop coping skills that support long-term emotional wellness. I believe therapy should feel practical, affirming, and tailored to each individual's needs.
Hi, I'm so glad you're here.
If you've been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, navigating a major life transition, or simply trying to find your footing again, you're not alone. Life can bring unexpected challenges, and it's okay to ask for support. I'm Kim Reed-Hartley, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master's degree in counseling, and I work with individuals who are ready to feel more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where you feel comfortable being exactly who you are.
My background includes counseling in both educational and wellness settings, giving me experience supporting people through life's many changes. I specialize in helping clients manage stress, navigate life transitions, build healthy coping skills, strengthen self confidence, and reconnect with the version of themselves they want to become. I believe therapy should feel approachable, practical, and tailored to your unique needs.
As an ADHD-Certified Clinical Service Provider and someone with lived experience of ADHD, I focus on supporting individuals navigating not just ADHD, but anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. I offer personalized telehealth therapy tailored to each client's unique needs, aiming to enhance coping strategies and overall well-being.
I offer telehealth services, making therapy more accessible and easier for clients. With a focus on providing personalized care, I strive to deliver the best possible service to meet each client’s unique needs. I have a flexible schedule and later evening appointments (after 9 pm) are available if requested.
Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns they do not fully understand, or exhausted from carrying challenges on their own for too long. Whether you are navigating trauma, depression, ADHD, relationship difficulties, family conflict, or a major life transition, therapy can provide a space to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with yourself.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. Together, we will explore the experiences, emotions, and patterns that may be contributing to your current struggles while building practical tools to help you move forward. I believe meaningful change begins with greater self-awareness, and that healing happens when people feel seen, understood, and supported.
My goal is to create a space where you can show up authentically, make sense of your experiences, strengthen your coping skills, and develop a deeper sense of confidence in yourself and your relationships.
Hello! I have a Masters of Education in Counseling and Human Development and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2002, with Supervisory status (2020). I am nurturing, patient and non-judgmental to help create a supportive environment where challenges can be addressed. I am a vocal advocate for children, teenagers, and adults. I have worked in psychiatric hospitals, RTC's, with TYC, private practice (all ages for individuals and families) and MHMR (focus on crisis counseling for children and teenagers). Trauma, depression, anxiety, crisis, and grief are some of my speciality areas.
Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming. I aim to create a safe, collaborative, and grounded space from the beginning. I meet clients where they are and move at a pace that feels manageable and respectful.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, trauma, addiction, and relationship challenges. I also specialize in complex and developmental trauma.
I support clients in integrating their spiritual and cultural values into therapy when desired and clinically appropriate. I was born in New Orleans and bring a culturally informed perspective shaped by my Latina, Indigenous, Christian, and Sephardic Jewish backgrounds.
I became a therapist because I have a deep commitment to helping people recognize and build their own strengths, especially during periods of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. I understand that seeking support takes courage, and I work to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the process.
I earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) and PhD from Tulane University, as well as a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Louisiana and Texas, and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Minnesota. I also hold a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Licensed Prevention Professional (LPP), and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP).
